Lime house sits on a hill overlooking the tent valley and the town church, within 2 minutes walk of the town square. Kirton-in Lindsey is a small town with many facilities, HSBC Bank, Family batches, bakers, hairdressers, supermarket and the choice of Indian, Chinese, fish& chips and many local public houses that provide good reasonable priced menu's. A pretty working windmill is in walking distance where one can purchase flour from the mill and every afternoon tea.

19 miles to the south is the cathedral town of Lincoln. Lincoln is steeped in history with many attractions culturally, good shopping and many more good restaurants.

Surrounding Kirton are many market towns which hold farmers markets weekly and scenery that is very attractive Hemswell an extensive antique centre is just 10 minutes drive from the Lime House, a whole day wandering around its many building would leave the collector of antiques breathless.

If relaxation takes the form of fishing there are several lakes with daily fishing permits. If beach is your pleasure the east coast boasts lovely sandy beaches, Cleethorpes only 40 minutes by car is a delightful. "Olde English seaside town." The Humber Bridge and gateway to South Yorkshire is a short drive giving easy access to all the pleasure of South Yorkshire and 15 miles from Humber side air port. If relaxation, tranquility in a delightful character cottage is what floats your boat. Lime House is the only choice to be made
